Author Q&A:
Q. What inspired you to write?
A. My mom, Ann Campanella, is a writer so when she thought of doing a writing class I decided I wanted to write a book.
Q. How did you get your ideas for your characters?
A. I wanted to have a sister/brother team so that both girls and boys would enjoy my books. Also, my dog Sunny is a golden retriever like Rusty in my books.
Q. How long did it take you to write your books?
A. For both books it took a little under a year to write, edit and format the books. I wrote from about September to January and edited from January to May and formatted and published the books from May to July.
Q. Where do you write?
A. I write upstairs around mid to late morning with my cat, Melia laying near my computer.
Q. Do you like to read?
A. Yes. If I have a really good book sometimes I will read it in only a day or two.
Q. What have you been reading lately? Or What are some of your favorite books?
A. Some of my favorite series are The Series of Unfortunate Events, The Sisters Grim and The Penderwicks. I also enjoy mysteries like my own books.

A. Obviously, I enjoy writing. Also, science (biology) and animals.

A. I hangout with my friends, play with my pets, and play basketball.
